Windows 2012 R2 Remote Desktop Enabled Cannot RDP Connect

On Windows 2012 R2 server, after you enable the RDP or Remote Desktop Connection features, you are still unable to connect to the server. (using mstsc)

This could be issue with Windows firewall.

To fix this issue, Open “Windows Firewall and Advanced Security” and find the rule “Remote Desktop – User Mode TCP-in” and ENABLE it.

Why not use remote support tools like logmein, R-HUB remote support servers, gotomypc, TeamViewer etc. for remotely connecting to Windows 2012 R2 server?
